Holding Space

There’s a lot going on these last couple weeks . . . but I’m holding space. I’m in a supportive and open stance to see what happens in these next few days. It’s the before.

I’m coming to Nashville next week to share my Mysterious Gifts of Grief collection of abstract paintings and my accompanying book. This is a sacred celebration of what grief gifted me in my brokenness.

We did an intimate show in October last year, deep in rural Michigan at the chapel at camp where my old life sprouted, where my identity was formed, and where that old life was put to rest.

Now I get to bring all of that to you in Nashville. This is probably the most important work of my life–let’s share together and connect. All of you held my hand through everything that happened. I want to look you in the eye, grab your hand, and celebrate healing. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you and this new life is good.

Come see me Thursday night at the Main Street Gallery in my old office building. Free parking is available on the street, anywhere around the Bricks building, as well as any spot at Center615 building as well.
